Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the primary organizational leadership in all aspects of economic and community development for Tate County, Senatobia and Coldwater, through job retention, expansion and creation, as well as enhancements to quality of life.

What We Do

The Tate County Economic Development Foundation promotes economic opportunity to bring new jobs, income and new businesses to Tate County, Senatobia and Coldwater. It actively markets Tate County to new residents, new businesses, tourists and visitors. It also is the economic and business hub of the Tate County area and promotes its members as the best places to do business in this area. The Tate County EDF also works to make Tate County the best place to live for its residents.

The Tate County Economic Development Foundation (EDF) is the driving force behind economic growth in Tate County, Senatobia, and Coldwater. We are dedicated to creating new opportunities for businesses, residents, and visitors by promoting job creation, business expansion, and community development. As the economic hub of the region, we work tirelessly to position Tate County as the best place to live, work, and invest.

With a clear mission of leadership in all aspects of economic and community growth, the EDF supports job retention, fosters new business development, and improves the overall quality of life for our residents. Our focus is on building a vibrant, thriving community where businesses flourish and people want to call home.
